Recruitment Week follow up

Hi all!

It's been a week since we had our recruitment week thingie and my god!
The amount of people that signed up with us... WOW!!

14 for Breakdance
39 for Latin
43 for Hip Hop
and 25 for our new class - Belly Dancing!

Madness!
Anyway, thank you for your support.

Here's the timetable for our classes.
Posters will be pasted around college to keep you reminded.

Hip Hop
Day: Tuesday
Time: 3 pm - 4 pm
Fees: RM50 per month
Instructor: Mr. Simon

Latin
Day: Thursday
Time: 4.30 pm - 5.30 pm
Fees: RM50 per month
Instructor: Uncle William / Aunty Luisa

Belly Dancing
Day: Friday
Time: 4 pm - 5pm
Fees: RM40 per month
Instructor : Mis. Shevani Ann

Breakdance is still temporarily unavailable :(

Please take note that we are trying to start another Hip Hop class on a Monday afternoon. Will update on that once we've confirmed the necessary.

All fees are to be paid 2 months in advance. Take note please.

Also, classes starts first week of August (READ:NEXT WEEK!) and will be conducted @ the Power Studio in SSD!

I would like to apologize to all of you out there who cannot make it to classes because of timetable clashes. I'm really sorry if our time doesn't suit yours.
Nevertheless, we are trying our very best to suit all of you out there.

Also, please take note that we will not be sending out e-mails notifications and updates.

Talent Show Contest - WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)

SUN-U Student Council 2009 will be organising a talent show contest called WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). The objective of this talent show is to provide a medium for students, with a spectrum of different talents to come together and show their stuff.

It’s on the 15th of August and is combined with Freshie Night 2.

Interested parties, auditions are held every wed for 4 weeks starting from next week.

This is all the info we have at the moment. Will update again when the details start pouring in.

SUN-U Clubs & Societies Recruitment Week,

For those who do not know what Clubs & Societies Recruitment Week is, it's actually a chance to raise awareness and promote our club or society to the SUN-U community aka people from college. This is where we get new members from.

Details as follows:

21 July 2009 – Setting up of booth by clubs and societies

22 July 2009 – First day of Club and Society Recruitment Week, 10 am to 4 pm

23 July 2009 – Final day of Club and Society Recruitment Week, 10 am to 4 pm

Oh! Did I mention?
We're given a chance to perform too!
Also, we're looking for people to help out at the booth. Basically what you do is give out fliers which will be prepared by us and just let the people know what we do and all. It's pretty simple.

Interested parties please let us know ASAP so that we can slot you in.
